　　2月25日写作考题如下：Some people think that governments should spend money looking for life on other planets, while others think that it is a waste of public money and there are many problems on earth. Discuss both views and give you own opinion.

　　本题一道典型的“讨论双方观点，并给出自己观点”的提问方式。我们需要对两个问题分别论述，并且给出自己的观点。

　　Nowadays, we have made a lot of great breakthroughs in the exploration of the outer space during the process of searching life on other planets. While some claim that these efforts are simply a waste of funds and resources, I would argue that all these endeavors are worthwhile.

　　笔者在首段先介绍了事实情况，并且随即引入了文章的中心论点：政府应该花钱去外太空寻找生命。

　　On the one hand, we do face a host of challenges and difficulties on earth, and the task of searching new life on other planets may hard to achieve some short term benefits. Today, there are thousands and hundreds of people living in poverty (especially in Africa) with food insecurity. Amid that, how to get enough food to eat and cloths to wear has become their primary purpose. They badly need the help from the rest of the world to meet their survive needs. Turning to the Middle East, bombs and air attacks happened frequently. Meanwhile, every single person in the world also suffer their shared concern: climate change. All these seems more urgent compared with the effort of space missions.

　　笔者先就反方观点给出论述。中心句指出“人类的确面临许多挑战，并且寻找外星生命似乎回报过低”这一观点。之后，笔者开始对这一个中心句进行具体的展开论证。首先找到了所有问题的逻辑连接，即使用地点的转移来处理衔接，一方面有了内容，另外也加强了句子之间的关系。

　　However, I would argue that societies will succeed in the long run if they place their resources and efforts in the outer space. In fact, when people complain that the space missions do not have any outcome, they did not realize that they have been using a wealth of by-products offered by the space science. They can enjoy the benefits of mobile devices and the great continence of the GPS, and all these are aided by satellites over their heads. Even the portable vacuum cleaners in hour homes are also associate with the space exploration. It has provide so many surprising and pleasing innovations that we non-astronauts use every day. Searching a new life on other planets is a link of our final target, but we have achieve a lot of practical success that can be put into practice to a large extent when we getting to that.
