　关于政府控制amtrik的事情。

　　阅读认为应该sell to private company, 三个理由：1、会lose money 2.unfair to 别的运输like

　　air, 3.train travel 在美国不常用。

　　听力反驳， 1.这个是misunderstanding, 重要的不是profit, 而是service;2 .政府会给每一种方式资助，比如会 pay for the satellite为了plane safe 。 3.是因为out of date, 所以不多用。政府应该多投钱进去来improve , 这样更多的人会使用。还提了japan和 europe.

　　文章提出 government should sell Amtrak to privately owned companies, 原因如下：

　　1. Loses money on some routes.

　　2. Unfair to privately owned companies such as airlines.3.人们更愿意 drive cars ，不坐Amtrak

　　Lecture 反驳：

　　1. Amtrak 不是以盈利为目的的，保留一些 routes 是为了某些偏远地区的居民，如果卖给私人企业，迫于利益会cut 这些 routes;

　　2. 政府实际在各种方面都资助了airlines, 包括 building control towers、control offices 以及天气方面等等。

　　3 . 人们不愿意坐是因为 out of date,如果翻新人们很愿意坐，举了 Japan 和Europe 的例子，人们偏好 comfortable and fast , 因此如果修好了人们会leave the cars at home。

　　1：动物们用的少，不会用。2：浪费钱。3：developed area damaged。

　　Speaker说建：1：动物会用，要花时间学。2：比起“没听懂”和处理交通事故的钱，建造crossings的钱要少。3：建造会让动物减少分离现象。更容易找到吃的，繁殖，让他们发展自己的地盘
