2017年，雅思口语新老题轮换已经悄然地完成了第一波。部分老题的“重出江湖”在口语考场上出其不意地给部分准备不够充分以及临场应变能力不够出众的“烤鸭”来个措手不及的下马威。比如：

　　Describe a movie you have watched in a cinema or at home

　　You should say:

　　What the movie was

　　Who you were with

　　Where you watched the movie

　　And explain how you felt about the movie.

　　笔者在此首先提供给广大“烤鸭”的小贴士-“素材的选定”，尤其作为身处中学和大学阶段的“烤鸭”们，由于缺乏人生阅历和生活经历，自然没有那么多“真情实意”与考官分享。至此，个人建议“烤鸭”们可以适时多利用各类实用APP软件以及微信公众平台来加以积累各类生活化的素材。

　　其次，在“事件类”话题的描述中，“过去式时态”的准确运用，也是每一位“烤鸭”需要多加注意的，例如，“动词过去式的不规则变化”。

　　由于中文的表述中不存在语法时态一说，导致不经常开口说英文的“烤鸭”特别不适应和不习惯。

　　现在笔者邀请“烤鸭”们一同来欣赏以下范文：

　　I have watched a couple of great movies with fascinating and exciting storylines in recent years. However, one of the most memorable ones was <The Pursuit of Happiness>, which was tremendously popular among young people. It was a Saturday evening. After having finished my homework, I was feeling a bit tired; so I decided to visit the nearest the cinema for a movie. (简单扼要介绍故事内容的基本信息)

　　In the movie, the actor didn't have a job and his wife left him alone. He was unable to afford to rent an apartment or even a flat; he had to sleep in the street. However, he didn't give up his personal dream of being a successful man. In the end, he was unexpectedly hired by an investment bank, although he was taking good care of his son in the meantime. (概括电影主要故事情节)

　　This movie has taught us a lesson on how to be a successful person when encountering some unexpected difficulties. As long as we put effort in what we are doing, our dream will come true. Later on, I strongly recommended the movie to all my friends. Almost everyone said it was one of the most meaningful movies that they have ever watched in their life. If given a chance, I would be happy to watch the movie again. (揭示电影的主旨和立意)
