With the wide use of computers and the Internet, people can study and work from home without going to school or company. Do the advantages outweigh its disadvantages?

Advantages

Working from home enables employees to have flexible schedule.

They can choose any time in a day to do their work without starting or finishing at a regular time.

In distant learning, the course offered online can be viewed ,recorded and replayed.

The most significant reason is that employees and students do not need to travel to the company or school every day, saving a great deal of time and cost.

Disadvantages

Working or studying from home brings about many problems.

Learning online may hinder students from developing social skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others.

Employees’ performance is not monitored by the managers and bosses, so the ability of employees cannot be justifiably evaluated.
